Heavy Horse World Spring issue is at the design stage!

We are busy putting together a bumper Spring 2020 issue, and there’s just a month to go before it reaches your door! The Spring issue is our ‘shows number’ with shows busy promoting themselves in our pages, as well as our annual Heavy Horse World Events List, entirely free to join. With fewer shows to report on at this time of year (although some are included) it’s our chance to catch up with a wealth of fascinating features on other heavy horse aspects. We report on a new Shire Horse Society accredited centre, and discover more about a team of Shires competing in driving trials; celebrate a century of connection with binders in Norfolk and find out more about two of our lesser-known working horse breeds. Plus, we get to grips with another practical task you can do with your own horse on your own land. As always we have great photography on offer! Don’t miss it – if you’re due to renew we’ll look forward to hearing from you, and we offer a warm welcome to our new subscribers, to a magazine you’ll love! Pictured is a flashback to November when the Lord Mayor’s Coach was once again drawn by a team of Shires, driven by David Lawless, in this photo by Paul Orchard.
